Health and Human Science Scholarships
The Health and Human Science (HHS) Program offers two scholarship/financial award options:
- Rhonda Au Scholarship: Student must be a top health and human science major, be of at least a junior standing, and have completed two semesters at BYU–Hawaii. Must have a minimum of 3.0 or higher GPA and successfully passed a minimum of two HHS major courses. Must demonstrate professional service and leadership by participation in either university, HHS, or community activities or projects. (Funding only on availability)
- Scholarship Award: Students must be a health and human science major, have a minimum of 3.0 GPA, must have completed a minimum of 30 credit hours toward graduation, AND successfully passed a minimum of two HHS major courses.
Students must be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours for fall and winter and 8 credit hours for spring to be eligible for scholarship consideration.
Application process: HHS majors will receive notification through their student BYU–Hawaii email account at the beginning of each semester with instructions on how to apply.
