Seasider Wellness
Mission
The mission of Seasider Wellness is to promote sustainable, healthy lifestyles. It is a joint partnership between two departments, the Health & Human Science Program and Seasider Sports & Activities. Seasider Wellness is a wellness hub that offers different health and wellness assessments, programs, and guidance. It focuses on helping people track and improve multiple dimensions of wellness. Students work under the direction of the health and human science faculty to receive experiential learning and to be mentored as professionals in the health and wellness industry.
Services
Seasider Wellness offers a variety of health and wellness services, and the best part—it’s free for all students and employees!
Services offered include:
- Goal setting and wellness coaching.
- Fitness assessments include endurance, strength, and flexibility testing.
- Personal training.
- BODPOD testing – a body composition test that shows your body fat percentage and lean mass.
- GYM tours – If you want to start using the fitness studio or fitness center on campus but don’t know how to use the equipment, sign up for a 25-minute gym tour.
